People in Glazing charity fundraiser: Paul Evans

Paul Evans, a Technical Support Engineer at REHAU UK, is embarking on a charity walk across the Brecon Beacons to raise money for a charity close to his heart.

Paul, will be taking on a 25-mile walk across the Beacons on 22 June, which also happens to coincide with Paul’s wedding anniversary, to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society on behalf of his dad who passed away as a result of the disease.

To get ready for the hike, Paul is currently training with his daughter Anna-Louise and is currently walking the mountain trails above Tonmawr in Wales.

He is aiming to extend their walks every time by two miles until they feel “fit enough” to do 30 miles. Once they feel ready, they then plan to head to Brecon and carry on their training on more extreme climbs.
